Is TaskPlate free?

Yes. TaskPlate is free to download and use, with no subscriptions and no in-app purchases.

Do my tasks sync between my iPhone and iPad?

Not currently. TaskPlate keeps everything on the device it was created on — there is no cloud account and nothing is uploaded anywhere, which is what lets us promise your tasks never leave your device. The tradeoff is that your iPhone and iPad each keep their own list. Sync is something we’re considering for a future release, so if it matters to you, please tell us at info@ideateovercoffee.com — it genuinely shapes what we build next.

Which devices are supported?

TaskPlate runs on iPhone and iPad with iOS or iPadOS 17 or later. An Android version is planned; exact requirements will be listed on each store page.

Do I need an account?

No. There is no sign-up, no email, and no password. Open the app and start adding tasks.

Where is my data stored?

Your tasks are stored only on your device and are never sent to us or anyone else. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

What happens to my tasks if I delete the app?

Because everything is stored on your device, deleting the app removes your tasks with it. If your device backup is turned on, TaskPlate’s data may be included in that backup like any other app’s.

I deleted a task by mistake. Can I get it back?

Yes. Deleted tasks move to Settings → Deleted Tasks, where you can restore them to To Do or In Progress. They stay there until you remove them permanently or auto-delete clears them.

My reminders aren’t appearing.

Check that notifications are allowed for TaskPlate in your device settings, and that Enable Reminders is turned on in Settings → Notifications. A reminder also needs a due date on the task.

How do I report a bug or request a feature?
